A season at the Moulin
Winter
The mountains, skiing and peace after a day on the slopes.
Le Mourtis is close by; in the evening, return to timber, silence and a house all to yourself.

A private retreat beside the water
Au Moulin welcomes four guests in Esbareich, in the Barousse valley: two independent master suites, forest all around and the Ourse de Sost along the grounds.
Each suite has a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm), a private shower room and its own toilet.

The place
Listen to the water, have lunch outside and truly slow down. The Moulin is more than a house: it is a gentler way to spend a few days.

The cottage
Each couple keeps its privacy: a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm), shower and toilet in each suite, plus a generous living space to come together.

Inside / outside
The large windows keep the forest in view. The two suites are independent and each has its own shower room.

Through the year
The scenery changes, the promise remains: a comfortable retreat at the heart of a living valley.

A season at the Moulin
Fishing, footpaths and the valley coming back to life.
The days grow longer, the water accompanies each walk and soft greens return to the Barousse.

A season at the Moulin
Natural coolness, the river and meals outdoors.
When temperatures rise elsewhere, the trees and the Ourse de Sost keep the air gentler here.

A season at the Moulin
Changing colours, red deer calls and wilder nature.
The forest changes voice and light; paths, heritage and slow evenings take centre stage again.

The story
The Moulin name, the Ourse de Sost and buildings already present in 1833 tell a story shaped by water, stone and handed-down gestures.
Today, plants, alchemy and spagyrics discreetly extend that calling in the private part of the estate.
The Barousse
Set off early, come home late or barely move at all. The Barousse notebook now brings together our markers for choosing a day that fits the mood.

Water as the everyday landscape and the starting point of your stay.

From gentle walks to full days higher in the mountains.

In autumn, a wilder valley to be listened to as much as looked at.

Villages, stone, old maps and traces of a valley shaped over time.
